I have an Escape Pack, which I like very much. I have the ARC Belt as well, and it’s a combination that is nearly perfect, with the size and weight being ideal. I do a lot of hike-in fishing on small Adirondack streams, so it’s perfectly sized. Normally I used it as a small chest pack. I do a lot of climbing and hopping around in small and steep brook trout streams, so I don’t like to just use it as a lanyard because it flops around too much. The chest pack conversion is holds it perfectly.
My one issue: I’m a rather “robust” build (a little fat to be honest), and the belt is too short for use in the spring or autumn when waders, a fleece vest, heavy shirt, and a rain jacket with fly box pockets all stack up underneath. I mentioned this to Vedavoo and they will custom make an extension for me!
