Jonathan Marquardt is the artist behind Badaxedesign. He lives with his wife and young son in Waunakee, Wisconsin (the only one in the world) where he slings flies, and makes art.

We reached out to Jonathan early in 2012 after discovering his work on Etsy – and after one conversation, we knew his goals and beliefs matched our own. A fly fisherman, many of the pieces Jonathan creates are inspired by excellent Wisconsin trout fishing – but his methods for hand-cutting linoleum to create impressions of his works makes his style unique and interesting.
